Associate Race Official Registration - New South Wales

Description

You will need this registration if you are between the ages of 14 and 18 and intend to perform a role at a licensed greyhound racetrack in an official capacity.

There are 3 types of Associate Race Official registration:

  • Kennel and Track Attendant (14-15 years)
  • Kennel and Track Attendant (16-17 years)
  • Associate Starter (16-17 years).

An Associate Kennel and Track Attendant is involved in race day operations in an official capacity. An Associate Starter is responsible for starting a race or trial. Associate Kennel and Track Attendants must be supervised by the Kennel Supervisor, and Associate Starters must be directly supervised by the Starter.

To be eligible for registration, you must:

  • be between 14 and 18 years old
  • have written parental / guardian consent
  • have a documented supervision arrangement with an adult registered participant
  • have any criminal convictions.
