Authority for a Joint Water Supply Scheme - New South Wales

Description

You will need this authority if you intend to take water from a river or lake for the purposes of a joint water supply scheme. The purpose of a joint water supply scheme is for supplying water to adjoining landowners in a particular area, usually for the purpose of irrigating grasses or pastures.

Embargo orders apply in some areas. Where an embargo order applies, an application cannot be lodged unless it fits within one of the exemptions specified in the order or in the Act.
