Charter Fishing Boat Licence - New South Wales

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate a commercial business that provides fishing trips for recreational purposes. This licence allows you to conduct guided recreational charter fishing activities for customers up to the maximum identified by the licence (number of people included in the licence details) in one or more of the following categories:

  • estuarine fishing
  • near shore bottom fishing and sport fishing

  • deep sea bottom fishing.

If you intend to start up a charter fishing boat business, you will need to buy a licence from an existing licence holder whose licence meets your requirements. New licences will not be issued.
