Firearms Permit for Film, Television or Theatrical Production - New South Wales

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to use a firearm in relation to a film, television or theatrical production and it is impractical to engage the services of a theatrical armourer to remain on-site to supervise the possession and use of firearms for the duration of the production. This permit will allow you, or a person nominated by you, to use the firearm, but only in connection with the production specified. Any person nominated by you must be supervised by you whilst using the firearm.

The firearm must be maintained in a safe condition, and be certified (by the holder of a theatrical armourer's permit) as having the chamber modified to allow blank cartridges.
