You may need a variety of gaming-related licences to work with approved gaming machines. These include:
- dealer's licence: authorises you to manufacture, assemble, sell and repair approved gaming machines
- seller's licence: authorises you to sell approved gaming machines
- technician's licence: authorises you to service, repair and maintain approved gaming machines
- test facility licence: authorises you to test and analyse approved gaming machines.
An approved gaming machine is any piece of equipment that is designed to be used for, or in connection with, the playing of a game of chance and / or skill that may result in the player being awarded with a prize (for example, poker machines).
Both individuals and corporations can apply for these licences. Please be aware that each licence will be subject to conditions.
