Individual Agent's Licence - New South Wales

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to work as a real estate agent, stock and station agent, or strata managing agent.

There are two classes of licence:

  • Class 2 licence
  • Class 1 licence.

A class 2 and class 1 licence holders perform the same functions. You will need to obtain a class 1 licence if you intend to be in a licensee in charge of a business.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

  • be 18 or older
  • be a fit and proper person
  • not be disqualified
  • have satisfactorily completed the work experience requirements
  • have successfully completed the relevant qualifications
  • have your place of business in New South Wales or within 50km of the New South Wales border

Please note that eligibility requirements vary for each class of licence.
