Integrated Forestry Operations Approval - New South Wales

Description

You will need this approval if you intend to carry out forestry operations in State forests or other Crown-timber land. Forestry operations are any operation undertaken in State forests or other Crown-timber land, including bee-keeping and grazing. Integrated forestry operations approvals (IFOAs) include the terms and conditions under which forestry operations may occur in each region of NSW.

The purpose of this approval is to protect the environment and conserve threatened species. Note that forestry operations undertaken in national parks and wilderness areas are not covered by this approval.
