You will need this licence if you intend to operate a business that will transport any of the following foods:

  • eggs
  • dairy
  • meat
  • seafood
  • shellfish
  • plant products
  • food for vulnerable persons in hospitals or aged care facilities.

Please note that:

  • all food transport businesses have to comply with the requirements of the Food Standards Code
  • depending on the exact food stuffs you plan to transport, you may have to comply with specific conditions.
