Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) Permit - Organisation - New South Wales

Description

You will need this if your organisation intends to provide transport services to individuals with a mobility disability who meet the mobility parking scheme (MPS) eligibility criteria.

This permit provides your organisation with a parking concession. Please note that these permits are only valid when an eligible person is in the vehicle, not for other purposes like running errands on the person's behalf.

Eligibility requirements

You are eligible for this permit if the individuals your organisation is transporting meet the Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) criteria. Eligible individuals must:

  • be unable to walk due to permanent or temporary loss of use of one or both legs
  • have a permanent medical or physical condition
  • have a physical condition that is detrimentally affected as a result of walking 100 metres, or
  • require mobility aids such as crutches or a scooter
