Mortuary Notification - New South Wales

Description

You will need to notify the agency if you intend to operate a mortuary. The agency will use the notification to include you on the mortuary register.

A mortuary is an establishment that is used or intended to be used for the preparation of bodies, in the course of arrangements for their burial or cremation. This does not include premises such as hospitals, where bodies may be temporarily stored before they are transferred to a mortuary.

Please check with your local council that all required approvals have been obtained before you lodge your notification.
