You will need this authorisation if you intend to conduct a major motor sport event.
Authorisation may be subject to conditions relating to:
- public safety
- public health
- environmental protection
- noise management
- insurance
- reporting requirements
- transport arrangements
- reinstatement of land
- consultation requirements
- financial arrangements, including the provision of security
- event and works planning requirements
- engineering certification requirements.
Please note that authorisation is not required for motor races on a part of the Mount Panorama race circuit, provided that:
- a traffic management plan has been prepared
- written approval for the race has been obtained from the Commissioner of Police.
