You may need to obtain an NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) if you deliver supports or services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The NDISWC aims to minimise the risk of harm to NDIS participants from the people who work closely with them.
A NDISWC is only required for roles that are:
- likely to require more than incidental contact with NDIS participants
- involved in the delivery of specified supports or services
- classified as key personnel
Your employer will advise whether you need an NDISWC as part of your work.
Please note, if you're working with children with disability you may require both a Working With Children Check and an NDISWC.
