- permit issued to a security firm authorises the acquisition of body armour vests for use by employees
- permit issued to an employee of a security firm authorises the possession and use of the employer's body armour vests only
- permit issued to a media organisation authorises the acquisition of body armour vests for use by employees listed on the permit.
If you are applying as a media organisation, you must outline why you require the use of a body armour vest for employees, including the risk posed to the employee due to civil unrest or warfare. This permit will restrict the number of body armour vests your organisation is authorised to acquire according to business needs.
