You will need this approval if you intend to publish, communicate or otherwise use information about a race field. Race field information includes any information that identifies or is capable of identifying a horse or greyhound participating in or withdrawn from a race to take place in New South Wales. This information is defined very broadly and includes any form of communication or display - whether oral, visual, written, electronic, or otherwise.
Generally this approval is required by wagering operators, such as bookmakers, totalizator operators or betting exchange operators.
Please be aware that your approval will be subject to conditions set by the relevant controlling body. Approvals are granted by the controlling body for each type of racing (horse, harness and greyhounds).
