Racecourse Licence - NSW - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to hold race meetings at a racecourse. You may apply for one or more of the following classes of licence:

horse racing
harness racing
greyhound racing.

Please be aware that a trial meeting may be held at an unlicensed racecourse so long as the meeting is held with the approval of the controlling body responsible for the type of racing concerned.

Eligibility requirements

Race meetings held under this licence must be conducted by a non-proprietary association, such as a club, corporation or organisation formed for the purposes of promoting or conducting racing meetings.

Duration

Licence will remain in force until cancelled.
