Recognised Competency Card (Liquor) - New South Wales

Description

You will need this card if you intend to sell, supply or serve liquor at any licensed premises and to perform any of the following roles:

  • licensee
  • approved manager
  • staff, including promotional staff, involved in the sale, supply and service of alcohol
  • volunteers, including club directors, who have liquor service responsibilities
  • security officers with crowd control duties.

Eligibility requirements

You must have completed a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) course delivered by an approved training organisation in NSW to obtain this card.

You will be provided with an interim certificate upon completion of your RSA course. This certificate will only allow you to work for 90 days while you order and receive your competency card through Service NSW.
