You need to be registered to practise as an occupational therapist. Registered occupational therapists assist those who need help carrying out everyday activities and can use the protected title of occupational therapist.

There are five different types of registration offered to practitioners:

  • general
  • provisional
  • limited
  • non-practising
  • student.
