You will need this registration to operate as a group training organisation (GTO).
GTOs employ apprentices and trainees and place them with a host employer for work and on-the-job training. GTOs ensure that employers maintain quality and continuity in delivering work based training. GTOs are also responsible for providing off the job training and pastoral care to apprentices and trainees necessary to successfully complete their training contract.
Please be aware that registration is contingent upon assessment and continued compliance with the National Standards for Group Training Organisations. Registration is not mandatory, however it is required if you are seeking to access Government funding.
