Registration of Authorised Explosives - New South Wales

Description

You cannot legally handle an explosive unless it is registered as an authorised explosive. All authorised explosives are listed on the register of explosives, where the explosive is assigned a classification code.

If you intend to handle an explosive that is not listed on the register, you can apply to register the explosive.

To be eligible you must:

  • provide all the requested information about the explosive
  • provide a sample or samples of the explosive, as it may require testing.

Duration

Registration remains in force until it is revoked by the Authority.
