Rider's Agent Licence (Thoroughbred Racing) - New South Wales

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to act as a rider's agent in the thoroughbred racing industry. A rider's agent is a person who, by contract or other arrangement or agreement, assists a jockey or the master of an apprentice jockey in the organisation and / or the obtaining of riding engagements.

Please be aware that:

  • you must comply with the specified rules and your licence may be subject to conditions
  • any agreement you make (the agent) with a jockey / rider will also need to be registered with the Agency.
