A greyhound should not be used as a sire unless it is registered. A sire is a male greyhound used for breeding. The granting of this registration is conditional on the greyhound being in the control of a stud master. A stud master is the person who will be held responsible for supervising the mating activities of greyhounds. This includes the care and custody of the sire.
When registration has been granted, you will be provided with a unique identification number.
