Description

You will require this certificate if you intend to subdivide a property.

Subdivision activities include the:

  • Division of an existing lot into two or more lots;
  • Consolidation of two or more existing lots that are then redivided, along new boundaries, into two or more lots;
  • Dedication of an existing lot as a public road or as a public reserve; or
  • Setting aside of an existing lot as a drainage reserve.

To be eligible for this certificate you must provide other details such as a copy of detailed subdivision engineering plans and a certificate of compliance from the relevant water authority.

You must also provide copies of any relevant approvals such as Development Consents, Complying Development Certificates, Occupation Certificates or Construction Certificates.
