Description

You will need this certificate if you intend to carry out subdivision works in New South Wales. A subdivision works certificate ensures that subdivision developments are completed in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements.

Subdivision works include:

  • Sewage and stormwater works
  • roadworks and earthworks
  • structural work.

As opposed to the subdivision certificate, the subdivision works certificate must be obtained prior to the commencement of any development or works.
