Sydney Harbour Wharf Access Authorisation - New South Wales

Description

You will require this authorisation if you operate a commercial vessel (such as a ferry or charter boat) and intend to use the network of commuter and charter wharves in Sydney Harbour and its tributaries. This includes any pier, jetty, landing stage or dock managed by the Authority within Sydney Harbour. There are three ways you can obtain a wharf authorisation:

  • a contract or agreement between you and the Authority
  • a permit or voucher issued under the Commuter Wharf Permit Scheme
  • a booking made through the Charter Wharf Booking System.

The Wharf Access Policy provides further details on the options available for your individual circumstances.
