To be eligible for this permit, you must:
- be an individual and at least 18 years of age
- be an Australian citizen or permanent Australian resident (includes New Zealand citizens)
- not be a controlled member of a declared organisation
- not be a member of a prescribed criminal organisation or have been a member in the previous 12 months.
A tattooing show permit will only be granted if the proposed show is open to the public and if there is, or will be, advertising promoting the performance of body art tattooing procedures at the show. If the tattooing show is taking place as part of a larger event, it must be advertised that the event will include body art tattooing.
