Tracking Hazardous Waste - New South Wales

Description

You will need to track certain types of hazardous waste when being transported. There are two categories of hazardous waste that require tracking:

  • category 1 - must be tracked within when being transported in NSW and interstate
  • category 2 - must be tracked only when travelling interstate.

A full list of category 1 and 2 trackable waste is detailed in the attached document.

Waste producers, transporters and receiving facility managers are all required to track hazardous waste when being transported.
