Transport Certificate - New South Wales

Description

You will need to obtain a transport certificate if you intend to transport hazardous waste. A transport certificate is used to record the transportation of a load of trackable waste from the consignor to the receiving facility. A printed transport certificate must accompany every load of trackable waste and must be specific to the individual load.

All waste consignors involved in the transportation of waste share the responsibility of ensuring a transport certificate is correct. Waste consignors include waste producers, transporters and receiving facility managers.
