Advertising Signage Permit / Banner Permit - Alice Springs Town Council - Northern Territory


A permit is required to erect, install, place, paint or construct a sign, banner, hoarding or advertisement on premises in public places. Applicants should consult the Council to ascertain whether or not the Council Signs Code requires that a permit be obtained to erect the proposed sign.

Generally, the display period of your banner can be a maximum of ten days. You can display your banner ten days before your event but must take it down one day after. Different rules may apply for political campaigns.
