Alteration Permit - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to make minor alterations to a building or change the use of a building. The changes must not:

  • alter the existing building or use more than 5%
  • increase the number of dwellings
  • affect the amenity of the area.

If the changes are beyond this scope, you must apply for an exceptional development permit. Please contact the agency for further information.
