Antique Firearms Collector's Licence - Northern Territory

You will need this licence if you intend to possess and display firearms of a category specified that were manufactured before 1 January 1900.

Eligibility requirements

In order to qualify for this licence you must produce evidence to the Commissioner's satisfaction that you have a genuine reason for the licence and for possessing and collecting firearms. You must also comply with the safe keeping practices prescribed in the Act and by the Commissioner.

You must also provide a letter outlining the reason for wanting this licence, outlining the theme and structure of the proposed collection.

Duration

An antique firearm collector licence remains in force for the life of the licence holder.
