Approval for Prohibited Weapons and Body Armour - Northern Territory


Persons or companies wishing to import, possess, manufacture, sell, carry or otherwise deal with prohibited weapons or body armour must obtain an Approval. Body armour means a garment or item that is designed, intended or adapted for the purpose of protecting the body from the effects of a weapon, including a firearm. Prohibited weapon means an article prescribed by regulation to be a prohibited weapon.
