Product Approval of an On-Site Wastewater Management System - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this approval if you intend to manufacture and sell a wastewater system with a design flow of up to 2000 litres per day.

By getting approval, you are authorised to sell and install that particular system anywhere in the NT, subject to compliance with conditions.

This approval applies to most on-site waste water management systems, including:

  • septic tanks
  • greywater systems
  • composting toilets
  • secondary treatment systems
  • aerated wastewater treatment systems.
