Authorisation to Use or Possess S4, S7 or S8 Poisons - Northern Territory


Any person intending to use a schedule 4, 7 or 8 poison in the course of their business must be authorised to use and possess schedule 4, 7 or 8 poisons.

Schedule 4, 7 and 8 poisons include laboratory chemicals, hydrofluoric acid and chlorine gas.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.


Up to 36 months on anniversary of application.


$60 per year (50 revenue units. 2019-20 revenue unit is $1.21)
