Bookmaker's Key Employee Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You may need this licence if you intend to work as a bookmaker at racing or sporting events, and you are considered to be in a key position.

This licence allows you to:

  • act in a managerial capacity
  • be involved in a decision-making capacity in the bookmaking business
  • act as a substitute for a registered bookmaker at an approved racecourse.

You do not need any special knowledge, experience or training to become a bookmaker's key employee. However, experience in the betting, racing or greyhound industry can be beneficial.
