Certificate of Registration as a Poisons Wholesaler - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to stock and sell certain medicines and poisons by wholesale. This includes poisons for therapeutic use, poisons restricted to medical, dental or veterinary prescription or supply, hazardous poisons, poisons requiring special precautions or those for which restrictions recommended for drugs of dependence apply.

If you are granted a certificate of registration, you can supply medicines and poisons to:

  • medical practitioners
  • dentists
  • veterinarians
  • pharmacists
  • retailers licensed to sell Schedule 2 or 7 substances
  • holders of medical kit authorisations.
