Certifying Plumber and Drainer Registration - Northern Territory


You must apply for registration if you intend to certify the design and / or construction of plumbing and drainage works in all classes of buildings, and certify the construction of hydraulic fire services such as fire hydrants and fire hose reels.

When working as a certifying engineer, you must always work in accordance with the provisions of the Building Code of Australia.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to apply for Certifying Plumber and Drainer Registration you are required to be a holder of a current NT Advanced Tradesman Licence in both Plumbing and Draining issued under the Plumbers and Drainer Licensing Act.
