Compliance Certificate - Swimming Pool Fencing Unit - Northern Territory

Description

Swimming pool builders or installers in the NT do not have to be licensed. However, new pools must be certified as compliant with the Swimming Pool Safety Act 2004.

On commencement of installation, installers must submit the Construction of a Pool Form to the Swimming Pool Fencing Unit.

Pool owner's are also required to complete the relevant forms, then contact the Agency on 8924 3641 to book an appointment for a Pool Safety Adviser to inspect the barrier for compliance to gain certification.

Other processes and forms may apply, for example, if a certified pool barrier is to be altered. For further details visit the website https://nt.gov.au/property/swimming-pools-and-spas
