You will need this consent if you intend to construct, test or operate an energy pipeline. Before applying, you will need to complete several steps. First, you must agree with the minister about the:
- matters to be covered in a pipeline management plan for the relevant consent
- scope of validation required for the proposed operation.
You must also develop a pipeline management plan for the design and construction of the pipeline. The plan must then be submitted to the minister before you receive validation from the independent validator.
