Container Deposit Scheme Supplier Registration - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this permit if you intend to supply regulated containers for sale in the Northern Territory.

Regulated containers include the following products:

  • carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks - 3 litres or less
  • fruit and vegetable juice - less than 1 litre
  • flavoured milk - less than 1 litre
  • water (aseptic packs / casks) - less than 1 litre
  • water (other material) - less than 1 litre
  • beer - 3 litres or less
  • wine (aluminium) - all
  • wine (plastic) - less than 250ml
  • wine (aspetic packs / casks) - less than 1 litre
  • sachets (plastic / foil) - less than 250ml
  • spirits (other than glass) - 3 litres or less.

To be eligible, you must form a supplier arrangement with an approved container deposit scheme coordinator. A supplier arrangement is a waste management arrangement between a beverage supplier and an approved container deposit scheme coordinator.
