Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate as a conveyancing agent in the Northern Territory.

A conveyancing agent is someone who acts as an agent for consideration in money. A conveyancing agent may act to search land titles, arrange for the preparation and execution of contracts for sale, and draw or prepare documents in relation to land.

Conveyancing agents can apply as an individual (sole trader), a firm (partnership) or a company.

  • hold the units of competency as specified by the agency
  • be a fit and proper person

Expiry

Your licence will expire on the anniversary of the date it was granted.
