You will need this licence if you intend to carry on operations in the electricity supply industry. There are five types of licence:
- selling electricity
- generating of electricity
- owning or operating an electricity network or a dedicated connection asset
- system control over a power system
- generating and selling power within an isolated system.
Licences may be subject to conditions and will require you to comply with applicable codes, rules, protocols and standards.
