Firearm Instructors Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to possess and use firearms for the purpose of conducting approved firearms training and safety courses.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible to apply for a licence, you must:

  • be at least 18 years of age
  • prove your identity in accordance with requirements under the Financial Transactions Report Act (1988)
  • meet the safe storage requirements under the Firearms Act and Regulations
  • have a genuine reason for holding a licence
  • have undertaken an approved Firearm Safety and Training Course.
