Firearms Employees Licence - Northern Territory

Description

This licence must be held by employees who are required by their employer to use a firearm. This licence allows employers to only use firearms as part of their work duties and not for another purpose.

Employees are not permitted under the licence to purchase their own firearms and all firearms used under the licence must belong to the holder of a Corporate Licence.

Employees in some occupations, such as security guards or bank guards will require counselling by a legal practitioner regarding the legal force that may be used and must have completed an approved firearms safety and training course.
