First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice - Northern Territory

Description

You may need to comply with this code if you conduct a business that involves the use of first aid in the workplace or have a duty to manage first aid in the workplace.

You may achieve compliance with your legislative requirements through another method if it provides an equivalent or higher standard of work health and safety.

Duties in relation to first aid in the workplace include:

  • providing and stocking first aid kits
  • providing access to facilities for providing first aid
  • providing training to deliver first aid.
