Fish Retailer Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to sell fish or aquatic life to a final consumer. Licence holders are not authorised to sell fish to a person who intends to resell it. Businesses and people who need this type of licence include:

  • shops
  • takeaway food outlets
  • restaurants
  • mobile food vans
  • street stalls.

All fish must be purchased from a licensed fisherman or fish trader / processor.

If you intend to purchase fish or aquatic life for processing and resale to other licence holders such as fish brokers, fish retailers or wholesalers, you will need a fish trader / processor licence.
