High Risk Work Licence - NT - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to engage in any high risk work, including:

crane and hoist operation - tower crane, self-erecting tower crane, derrick crane, portal boom crane, bridge and gantry crane, vehicle loading crane, non-slewing crane and slewing crane
materials and personal hoist
forklift operations
boom-type elevating work platforms
scaffolding work
dogging and rigging work
work with pressure equipment
concrete placing boom work
reach stacker work.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

To be eligible, you must:

be 18 or older
reside in the Northern Territory
not hold an equivalent licence in another state or territory
complete the relevant training and provide a HRW Licence Assessment Report as evidence
be a suitable person to hold the licence.
