Licence to Sell or Supply Poisons - Northern Territory


This licence is required to sell or supply Schedule 2 or 7 poisons.

Schedule 2 poisons, which are poisons for therapeutic use, may only be sold in pharmacies or if the retailer is more than 25 km from a pharmacy.

Where pesticides (Schedule 7 poisons e.g. 1080) are being sold the vendor must ensure that the pesticide is registered and the vendor must also meet AGSAFE requirements, including AGSAFE Industry Organisation Accreditation.

Up to 36 Months on anniversary of application.


Application fee: $60 (50 revenue units)
Licence fee: $60 per year (50 revenue units)
2019 - 2020 Revenue unit = $1.21
