Liquor Wholesaler Registration - Northern Territory

Description

You will need this registration if you intend to sell wholesale liquor to a person for resale to a consumer or retail purchaser.

You are only permitted to sell wholesale liquor to a holder of a liquor licence. For example, you may sell bulk wine from your winery to a hotel for them to sell to patrons.

You will need to complete and submit a National Police Certificate.

Prerequisites

Ongoing eligibility requirements

You must provide quarterly returns showing the amount of alcohol sold to licensed premises. You must record all volume of liquor in litres and include the following details:

  • volume of liquor sold in each suburb and post code
  • total volume sold of each type of liquor (e.g. cask wine, bottled wine, fortified wine)
  • total sale of the prices of all liquor.

You must keep records for at least three years.

Your registration will expire on the anniversary of the date it was issued
