Mollusc Fishery Licence - Northern Territory

Description

You will need to apply for a mollusc fishery licence, if you intend to collect molluscs in the Northern Territory. Under a mollusc licence you may take shellfish but must not collect pearl oysters and other shellfish such as squid, octopus, cuttlefish and nautilus.

There is only one licence, it is allocated and cannot be bought sold or leased.

Additional information

Commercial mollusc fishing is allowed in intertidal waters from the high water mark out to the low water mark.
