You will need this permit if you hold a pastoral lease and you intend to clear native vegetation on your pastoral land. Applicants can make a simplified or a standard application, depending on the size of your proposed clearing and the technical criteria that must be met.
You must also calculate your estimated greenhouse gas emissions. If they exceed 500,000 tCO2e, you must have a greenhouse gas abatement plan as a part of your application.
